This is an audio recording of a Joni Mitchell solo acoustic concert. While it's an audience recording, the venue was small and the recording was done closely, resulting in soundboard-quality audio for the performance. The concert features friendly banter between songs. The master recording has had some volume adjustments made to the audience's cheers between songs, which is a bit bothersome in some places. We considered cutting out the gaps between songs, but we decided to leave them in to capture the atmosphere of the time and to preserve the value of Joni's speeches. If it bothers you, please skip them with your remote control. The original recording had a lot of hiss noise, but this has been significantly improved by the label's noise reduction. This is a great live album, featuring many songs from her early masterpieces 'Ladies of the Canyon', 'Blue', and 'For the Roses'.
