In 1994, Prince took a number of inexplicable actions, including not writing new music and changing his name. However, behind the scenes, he was churning out incredibly brilliant new music. The result was two albums: Prince's Death Come and the new Gold Experience. However, these two albums were born out of considerable trial and error, and while the songs were complete by the end of 1993, the sound was quite simple. Furthermore, Prince had been working on songs that didn't appear on those two albums, not even on NPG's Exodus, even back in 1993. The newly unearthed audio material includes 10000 Magazine, a fashion magazine Prince helped edit when it launched in February 1994, and its promotional footage, 10000 Wallpaper, both in master quality. The audio is available on CD. The tracks are remarkably simple: alternate takes of "Come" and "Endorphin Machine" in their developmental stages, an extended version of "Race," an alternate take of "Chaos And Disorder" featuring less effects, including Rosie Gaines' vocals, and an alternate take of "Gold" with a pure arrangement. The tracks from "Interactive" to "Space" flow seamlessly, seamlessly, as if listening to an entire album. While fully formed as an album, the simplicity of the tracks highlights the over-production of the later "Gold Experience." The sound quality is so excellent that it's as if the original outtakes were dubbed from the 10000 Wallpaper master.

This special edition album boasts the master audio of 10000 Wallpaper, and includes the accompanying video. At 55 minutes in total, it's the same length as the audio, but unlike the Glam Slam Wallpaper video, it unfolds Prince's unique world through a collage of models and images from 10000 Magazine, making it a must-see. Play this and you're guaranteed to get the ladies ravishing in the club, and have some fun! It's truly Prince-esque.
