New label Fonky Records presents the ultimate tape, releasing a legendary three-day live performance using never-before-seen new masters. These performances were held at Wembley Arena on the first three days of the Parade Tour, a tour that saw Prince become a superstar in both name and reality, and then announce his retirement from touring. However, this tour completely erased the past with a James Brown-style funk-soul show. This is a completely different master recording from previous releases, unearthed by Fonky Records, and a high-quality audience recording that surpasses past sound quality. Prince is a genius, and this title will surely reaffirm that the live performance that made him so famous was indeed true. Unfortunately, the first five or six minutes are not included on the 13th, but we will not supplement this and will simply release the newly unearthed Fonky Records original master. Of these three days, many would say the final day, the 14th, when Sting and Ron Wood guested on "Miss You," was the best. However, if you look at the setlist, which includes the high-energy performance on the first day, which seemed to try everything, and the Paisley Park performance on the 13th, you'll see that they tried out and embodied almost everything they would show at later shows over these three days, changing the arrangements each time to see the audience's reaction. It's no exaggeration to say that these legendary three days represented the culmination of Prince and the Revolution's live performances; they were filled with incredible quality, high energy, youth, and funkiness!
