This is a live recording of Shai Maestro, one of Israel's top jazz pianists. Recorded at a Swiss jazz festival, it features an unconventional quartet, with a keyboardist joining him despite him being the piano player. While the overall sound is that of a beautiful acoustic jazz trio, the keyboard effectively creates a sense of space, almost floating. With excellent soundboard recording quality, this is a great title that will appeal to both authentic and avant-garde fans.
