The "Licks" tour kicked off in Boston on September 3, 2002; however, just prior to the tour, a warm-up gig with a limited audience was held at the Palais Royale in Toronto—a venue with a capacity of only a few hundred people. This release features a complete soundboard recording of that August 16, 2002, Palais Royale performance. In addition to the main show, Disc 2 includes soundboard recordings of the day's rehearsals, appearing here for the first time.
