AHUM RECORDS, a new collector's label focusing primarily on artists from the 2000s onwards, has arrived.

This release features a professional-shot recording of Unknown Mortal Orchestra's 2019 Fuji Rock performance, led by Ruban, a rising star of the new generation of psychedelia from New Zealand.

Their pop-sensibility is outstanding, and their rhythm section boasts a solid, direct-from-black metal sound. Ruban's guitar sound creates the ultimate chill psychedelic atmosphere. The transition from his guitar solo walk down the stage during the instrumental break of the first song, "From the Sun," to "Ffunny Friends" is so perfect that you'll want to listen to it on repeat. The fact that frontman Ruban, the drummer, and the multi-keyboardist are family members must contribute to their perfect synergy. Their 4th album, which comes after signing with the prestigious Jug Jug War label following their 2nd album, is arguably their best work, and their groove at Fuji Rock is absolutely perfect.
