Live at Budokan, Tokyo, Japan, September 25th 1990

This is a recording of the legendary September 26th Budokan concert, the final show of the large-scale "Slip of the Tongue" world tour in 1990, featuring the brilliant Steve Vai. Coverdale was seen weeping after the show.

This recording captures the September 25th Budokan concert, the day before, using the original cassette master – a completely unprecedented release, never seen online or among traders – in ultra-high-quality audience recording.

The sound is remarkably clear and crisp for a Budokan concert, with excellent balance and separation – the highest quality recording quality for that era. The rhythm section is solid and full-bodied, making for a truly compelling listening experience.

Adrian and Vai's guitar sounds are incredibly raw and breathtaking, and while Coverdale's voice is somewhat rough at this time, he delivers an energetic and powerful vocal performance, giving it his all, rivaling even the final show.

While it might be overshadowed by the final performance, the legendary performance at Budokan on September 25th, the day before the final show, is also absolutely fantastic, both in terms of sound quality and overall presentation.

On Disc 2, the two songs "Ain't No Love In The Heart Of The City" and "Still Of The Night" have some audio fluctuations and the left channel drops out in places due to equipment problems.
