This premium recording of the November 22nd Shinkiba Studio Coast performance, the second of three consecutive Tokyo shows from the Atoms For Peace Japan tour, a super-project formed by Thom Yorke, Flea, and Nigel Godrich, is here! This ultra-high-quality recording combines XAVEL's renowned audience recordings with the three IEMs used by Flea, Thom Yorke, and Mauro Refosco. After the main show, the opening act, ANSTAM, performs a performance, also recorded with an ultra-high-quality audience recording.
Following the release of "RED ALART," a powerful, ultra-high-quality recording of their performance at the 2010 Fuji Rock Festival, XAVEL now releases their second tour recording. This release uses different IEMs and intentionally altered the mix balance compared to "Tokyo 1st Night 2013," which captured the previous night's performance. The balance of the sound is even better on this release than on the previous night's performance, and while it's not as aggressive or flashy as the previous night's performance, it still delivers an extraordinary level of realism that makes you believe it's a leaked soundboard. XAVEL has been working to perfect the fusion of IEM and audience recordings for the past year, and this release represents one of their most accomplished projects. It's safe to say that there's no one who would judge this recording to be "bad sound."
