Beyond his passionate pursuit of humanitarianism, another lifelong passion of this exceptionally talented artist is his fight against AIDS—the "Elton John AIDS Foundation." The DVD contains footage from a live performance held on June 30, 2012, at Independence Square in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine. Along with the performance of QUEEN feat. Adam Lambert, who shared the stage, professional-shot footage circulated online shortly after the show, so many people have likely already seen it. This release uses an HDTV professional-shot master that can be confidently described as master-quality, and both the video and audio have been remastered by the label, resulting in a definitive edition. It's arguably the best Elton John collector's video in recent years, and we highly recommend you check it out.

The CD contains footage from a premiere live performance held on September 6, 2006, at Lincoln Center in New York, in front of only 1200 spectators. This performance was a hot topic among fans after the show, and some songs are available on video sharing sites, but this CD uses a superb stereo soundboard master with exceptional clarity, allowing you to enjoy the superb sound thanks to the label's unique remastering process. The only downside is that it only includes 11 tracks, not all of the songs performed that day, but it's a perfect quality stereo soundboard recording.
