This recording features Eric Clapton's live performance at the Greenwich Town Party 2018 rock event on May 26, 2018. This was his first live performance of 2018 since September 2017. Although Eric has performed regularly each year since retiring from touring, albeit with fewer shows, the performance recorded on this item was a long-awaited one for fans. The live performance itself is undeniably superb, and given that he only plays a few times a year, Eric himself seems to be enjoying the concert, which comes across directly. The song selection is also very enjoyable, making for a fantastic live experience. Susan and Derek from the Tedeschi Trucks Band, who also performed at the event that day, appear as guests during the encore, adding to the excitement of the show. The sound quality is excellent, as it uses high-quality audio sources recorded with audience participation. Clarity and presence are excellent, and you can enjoy stable, high-quality sound without being disturbed by audience noise.
