This is a superb live recording of the first performance in Tokyo from the band's 2014 Japan tour, completely captured in superb sound quality with an audience recording. This gem of a live album features the familiar XAVEL label's original high-quality master, digitally remastered in 24-bit. It also includes the much-anticipated 2009 Japan tour featuring Jeff Beck, and the 2011 tour with Steve Winwood, a former BLIND FAITH ally, which generated a great deal of excitement. The XAVEL label has consistently released definitive recordings of exceptional sound quality, and this release once again lives up to fans' expectations. The entire Tokyo premiere, which marked the band's 200th visit and the opening performance of their Japan tour, was recorded from the prime location at the front of Arena A's central block. This recording is a world apart from the disappointing sound quality often found in audience recordings, and truly deserves to be described as "the pinnacle." From classic bluesy tracks to "Tears In Heaven," performed for the first time in front of Japanese fans, this two-hour performance encapsulates all of Eric Clapton's musical talents. As this was reportedly his final major tour, fans were sure to be deeply moved by the performance.
