This is a reissue of a rare title from a handmade label by collectors for collectors, which was distributed only in very limited quantities. While copies quickly circulate these days, this item is an officially licensed reissue from the master tapes.

This is a collection of live recordings from 1974, including Fairport Convention's performance in Japan. Unfortunately, Richard Thompson had already left the band, but original members Dave Swarbrick and Dave Mattacks were still in the band, and the presence of Sandy Denny is particularly rare. Sandy's vocals and Swarbrick's fiddle are essential to "Mattie Groves" from the historically significant album "Lise and Leaf." While these are audience recordings, considering the era, they are all remarkably good, and the performances are captured vividly. A must-have item for fans of folk rock and British traditional music.
