This release features a complete recording of the first night of their Tokyo performance from their fourth tour of Japan, held at the end of May 2009 to commemorate the band's 40th anniversary. The recording captures the concert in superb sound quality from an audience recording.

The band, consisting of Christian Vander (drums, vocals), Stella Vander (vocals), Isabelle Feuillebois (vocals), James Mac Gaw (guitar), and Philippe Busspnnet (bass), the same eight-member lineup as their previous tour, delivered a passionate performance lasting over two hours. This item digitally remasters that memorable performance from the Wildlife label's original, superb audience master recording.

From the opening track, an untitled new song, the intense MAGMA sound is unleashed in full force. The middle section features the finally "complete" version of "Emehnteht-Re," and the further evolved "Kobaia," among many other highlights. The sound quality is also on a completely different level from audience recordings available online, making this a gem of a title that you should definitely get your hands on.
