This complete recording of the performance on the Mountain Stage on the first day of Summer Sonic 2014 Tokyo (August 16) was recorded using the original audience master and matrix sound source of Dave Ellefson's IEMs. Although the acoustics at the venue were far from perfect, combining the Ellefson IEMs with the mic produced an ultra-high-quality sound source comparable to a stereo soundboard, making them a highly recommended item. Because Mustaine and the other band members' IEMs had a pronounced click, I chose the Ellefson IEMs as the matrix. The sound of all instruments was recorded in a well-balanced manner, guaranteeing excellent listening comfort. However, Mustaine's vocals were barely present in the IEMs, making them a little hollow. However, since Mustaine's vocals are difficult to hear at a MEGADETH concert, this is considered standard, so it's not a big deal. The setlist, starting with "Hangar 18," included "Skin o' My Teeth," "Sweating Bullets," "Tornado of Souls," and "Trust," with no throwaway tracks! Naturally, the final track was "Holy Wars... The Punishment Due," making it a truly excellent set.
