This DVD features a professional recording of the performance at Yokohama Stadium in Yokohama, Japan, on September 26, 1987—part of Michael Jackson's first-ever solo world tour, the "Bad World Tour." His visit to Japan generated a level of excitement comparable to the Beatles' arrival, leading to a total of 14 shows; the performance captured here is the eighth of that series. While this concert is a staple in Michael's videography and has seen numerous releases, the original footage—shot on analog equipment 39 years ago—suffered from low resolution. For this release, we applied state-of-the-art restoration techniques: upconverting the footage to Full HD, performing extensive color correction, and fixing audio dropouts. We also framed the original analog-aspect-ratio footage against a blurred wide-screen background to create a widescreen presentation, allowing you to enjoy this powerful, legendary performance with stable, high-quality visuals.
