This recording captures Michael Schenker's 2016 Japan tour, the final day, August 26th, at Zepp Sapporo, Sapporo, Japan. Following his visit last year, Michael Schenker returned to Japan for a tour titled "MICHAEL SCHENKER FEST," featuring former vocalists Gary Barden, Graham Bonnet, and Robin McAuley. The setlist was well-balanced, with songs from albums released during each vocalist's tenure, making for a very enjoyable experience. Michael himself seemed to be having a great time performing, and this performance is clearly evident. In the performance recorded on this item, some songs were replaced, and in Tokyo and Osaka, Graham, who sang lead vocals on three songs, took on lead vocals on four songs, and also sang first vocals on the encore song "Doctor Doctor." Since August 27th was Gary Barden's birthday, Michael sang a birthday song before the encore, making this a fantastic concert full of highlights. The sound quality is excellent, recorded with high quality and clarity, giving a sense of directness and realism, allowing you to enjoy the performance with great impact, as if you were actually at the venue.
