Mountain Anthology Tapes: This tape couples recordings of their New Year's Eve concert at the NY Fillmore from December 31, 1970 to January 1, 1971, and their 1974 reunion concert in New Jersey. The years 1970 and 1971 were truly golden opportunities for Mountain, showcasing the superb combination of Leslie and Felix, with Leslie's guitar work shining through, delivering a fantastic hard rock sound. The New Jersey concert after their reunion, perhaps a period of uncertainty for the band, features a twin-guitar setup. While they were already a band with a rich sound, this adds even more stability, resulting in an overall excellent live performance. Seven bonus tracks from the June 1971 Fillmore concert are included. All tracks utilize SBD sources, ensuring stable and high-quality sound.
