This release features a soundboard recording of Peter Frampton's live performance at the Electric Ballroom in Dallas, Texas, on July 4, 1975, during his US tour. While the 1976 release *Frampton Comes Alive!*—a mega-hit that sold over 10 million copies worldwide and turned Frampton into an overnight superstar—was compiled from the best takes of that 1975 tour, this item presents a complete, uninterrupted soundboard recording of a single show from that same tour. The performance is charged with palpable tension, yet Frampton himself delivers a set full of raw energy and momentum. Although there are rough edges here and there, the recording vividly captures the essence of Frampton at that time. It is a truly electrifying live performance.
