This is a complete recording of Prince's triumphant return to First Avenue, his mecca. There's a release called "Hotter Than July" (orders available by emailing funksoulmusic@hotmail.com for ¥2890), which includes only the main show at Target Center, coupled with the long-awaited (and even fan-favorite) after-show from Prince's triumphant return to First Avenue, and a complete master recording of the Target Center performance, two levels up in sound quality. A masterpiece from the FBG label! The sound quality on both releases is simply superb. While the Target Center's high-quality, immersive audience is a real treat, First Avenue goes even further, offering the ultimate audience recording that surpasses the soundboard. The Target Center features Wendy and Sheila E., new songs, and is the main show in Minneapolis. It's hard to imagine a title with better sound quality and content. And then there's the after-show, at First Avenue, the mecca of Minneapolis. The promised land that witnessed Prince's rise to stardom, the film "Purple Rain," surely highlights Prince's strong attachment to First Avenue. Even after Prince became a superstar, he still held pre-tour debut gigs and dress rehearsals. However, following the dissolution of the Revolution, Prince would not play at First Avenue again until March 21, 1987, when he unveiled his new band. This was because, without time constraints, Prince had a unique space in Paisley Park where he could embody whatever he wanted to express, from studio to party to small-scale live performance. Time passed, and on July 7, 2007, at the aptly named Three Seven, he returned to the stage for his first live concert in nearly 20 years! The opening number was "3121," a welcome to our home! The moment Prince appeared, the crowd erupted, but the sound quality was simply superb, creating a fantastic opening that wasn't annoying, but rather left the listener with excitement. Prince's pounding guitar, Sheila E.'s rhythmic percussion, and the magic of First Avenue, all combined with Mike Phillips' vocoder rendition of "Tom's Dinner," create a truly special First Avenue version of 3121. Shelby is the center of the song on "I Feel 4 U," but it's powerful enough to rival Shaka Khan's. Led by Renato's beautiful piano melody, the performance of "Gotta Broken Heart Again" offers a perfect flow, showcasing Prince's soulful and energetic falsetto. Then, like a medley, Shelby takes the baton for Amy Winehouse's "Love Is a Losing Game." While it was first performed in a tribute after her death, the song's brilliance has already led to covers of it.

This is a superb version, with Prince delivering a perfectly timed, relaxed guitar solo. During "Thank You," his mentor, Larry Graham, appears. Shelby was originally a member of Larry's band, and the two of them play a Sly number, with Prince, the incarnation of Sly, joining them, making for the ultimate "Thank You"! The bass sounds incredible, as always, truly showcasing the founder's chops. After a break, Prince expresses his surprise at finding Larry Graham on First Avenue, and then suddenly launches into "Hair." This is a rare version, featuring Shelby, a song he doesn't often play with Prince. A free disc is included! The sound quality is poor, but it's actually a recording of a rehearsal at First Avenue on March 21, 1987!

3121 Perfume Launch Macy's, Minneapolis, July 7, 2007

777, the number of 777, is considered auspicious among Prince fans. On July 7, 2007, Prince performed three incredible concerts in his hometown of Minneapolis. The final part of the concert, the 3121 perfume launch gig at Macy's, has finally leaked and is now available! The main gig at Target Center and the concert at First Avenue, also known as the aftershow, both achieved the highest sound quality and were released under the title 7-7-7, making them Three Seven's landmark. However, this warm-up gig, or the Macy's gig, which could be called an open rehearsal, was not included. However, to complement that item and complete Three Seven, this title has finally been released! The sound quality is also the best audience recording, boasting the highest realism! As expected, Minneapolis, the taper is also the best! Starting with When the Saints Go Marching In, as if to declare Prince's arrival in Minneapolis, it snowballs into Prince's anthem 3121, and before you know it, it's a pumped-up, explosive version of Girls & Boys, and then Sheila E. appears! A Love Bizarre, and Sheila E. doesn't stop, getting on the boat, The Glamorous Life, and energetically exciting! Sheila's Minneapolis! The cheers of "Let's Go Crazy" resonate with the soul! Prince also strums his guitar like crazy! And at this point, the band finally debuts "Take Me With U" followed by their new song "Guitar"! Fans are already fainting! Shelby also goes manic and crazy, and the finale is a near-explosive version of "Let's Go Crazy"! No ballads whatsoever! It's a clean, 40-minute, fast-paced funk-rock world! No one can complain about these flawless 40 minutes. This is a gig of ultimate aesthetics, where transience is beautiful, and the final puzzle in history has finally been completed! Only one thing to say! A must-have item!
