This album is packed with amazing outtakes! It starts with the original version of "Feel U Up" and "Irresistible Bitch" spliced together, and it's a shock! Prince's vocal version of "Feline" finally appears! Complete! The driving force! The eerie horns! It even includes the rap of "Holy Rock," making it an absolute masterpiece. Jill Jones's versions of "Our Destiny" and "Roadhouse Garden" are spliced together. Prince's version of "The Screams of Passion," which we knew he'd be there, makes its first appearance! It's an edited version of the America 12-inch, though it's still quite long at 21:32. There's "Killin' At The Soda Shop," an interesting fusion of punk and strings; a sensual version of "My Baby Knows"; and "Living Doll," which transitions from cute pop to a refreshing instrumental. All three of these tracks feature Jill Jones on vocals. While they were produced during the band's first album, these are the best tracks that would have appeared on the elusive second album. "U Got The Look" is not the 12-inch version, but a full-length version with a never-before-heard second half. Also, "Soul Company," the sixth track from Sheila E.'s long-lost fourth album, released around the same time as the funky "Girl Power," where she exudes feminine charm, makes its debut with an instrumental version! And then there's "Funky," rumored to feature Miles Davis' horns! While it's likely a sample of an existing track, it's so amazing you could mistake it for a Prince and Miles Davis jam. There's also a groovy, extended version of "Flesh And Blood," an alternate version of "Dinner With Delores," and outtakes of "S.S.T."!

This is the best outtakes collection of 2017—nay, the most comprehensive compilation of the last decade! The vault has finally opened! (Please note that due to the nature of the excavated material, there may be some noise and audio dropouts.)
