This sequel to the collection of outtakes from 2014 and 2015, which continued to be unearthed with the release of Perfect Unreleased Perfect Edition (3 CDRs), Connection (3 CDRs), and Complications (2 CDRs), is now available. Starting with the earliest version of "Baby I'm A Star," the album features the funky "High Calonic" from 1985's "Paisley Jam," newly unearthed Voodoo Who recordings, Prince's version of "I Guess I'm Crazy" for Mavis Staples, "I Need a Man" (presumably for Bonnie Late), and the never-before-seen "By Alien Means," a Prince-inspired track that Madonna apparently disliked, but which is surprisingly cool to listen to. Also making its debut is "Pickle," Prince's Bob George-esque funk track, "Ain't No Place Like U," which he wrote for Mayte, whose vocal style is so similar to Mayte's that it could be argued that Mayte was trained to perfectly mimic Prince's. This collection of newly unearthed outtakes is not to be missed.
