Until now, the recording of the 1976 Hague concert in the Netherlands was known only for the May 29th performance. Regarding the recording from the following day, the 30th, only an incomplete recording that had not been bootlegged existed among a few collectors. This newly unearthed recording from that day comes from a reel-to-reel master recorded by an audience at the time, and the sound quality is significantly improved compared to existing recordings, confirming that it is the original low-generation master. This recording from an outdoor stadium 35 years ago boasts excellent quality and captures the concert almost completely, but it's missing parts of the opening "Honky Tonk Women" and the reprise of "You Gotta Move" leading into the intro to "A World Without Heart." These parts have been supplemented using alternative sources, resulting in the SODD original remastered version, which is closer to complete and boasts the longest and highest quality to date. Furthermore, this edition includes a DVD of extremely rare privately filmed footage of the two days of The Hague concert, allowing you to enjoy the concert visually as well. In 1976, there was no video, so it was filmed on 8mm film with dubbed audio, but the fact that two versions of this footage from that era still exist is invaluable, and version 1, with its 40 minutes of footage from both days combined, is a must-see. In addition, bonus footage of the 1976 Nice concert and the BBC recording of "Fool to Cry" have been added. This is a noteworthy collector's edition that recreates the funky 1976 Stones, featuring Billy Preston, using both rare audio and video from that era!
