SODD is releasing the first night of the Rolling Stones' 1975 LA five-night concert series, recorded by legendary taper Mike Millard. This release, produced from Millard's first-generation master reels, features mastering that prioritizes the natural and clear sound quality unique to low-generation tapes, without any excessive EQ. Those familiar with previous releases may find the sound somewhat subdued, but this is the sound recorded by Millard on July 9, 1975. Only the guitar solo section from "World of Sadness," which was originally cut, has been supplemented with a separate recording.
