THE SPECIALS, with "almost all original members" except Jerry, centered around Terry Hall, successfully held their first Japan tour in approximately 27 years. This release features a complete recording of their August 8th (Saturday) performance, where they headlined the Mountain Stage, the largest indoor stage and the main attraction of their Tokyo tour!

While ticket sales for their solo performance prior to Summer Sonic were not great, this night, befitting a headliner, saw a huge crowd of all ages flock to see THE SPECIALS, creating an absolutely electrifying atmosphere.

They performed one classic hit after another without holding back, and the audience's reactions—from excitement to disappointment—were truly breathtaking! It was a fantastic night.

All the band members came to Japan with their families, and Terry Hall's family, in particular, arrived a week earlier, extending their stay by another week after the performance, enjoying a total of approximately two and a half weeks in Japan.
