This is a superb, high-quality audience recording of the March 5th Tokyo performance from the 2010 Japan tour of the Brecker Evans Soulbop Band, the band spearheaded by Randy Brecker and Bill Evans, which featured Steve Lukather and Robben Ford on guitar.

While Hiram Bullock was the undisputed guitarist of the Soulbop Band, known for his distinctive sound and exceptional timing, he passed away suddenly in 2008. For this "Special Edition," the band has been truly revamped with two of the most prominent guitar heroes of our time: Steve Lukather and Robben Ford. From their guitar sounds and playing styles to their vocals, these two guitarists are practically polar opposites. The fact that they're collaborating on a song by the Brecker Brothers is sure to excite many fans, and this release delivers a fantastic performance that lives up to those expectations.

This Tokyo performance's first set uses a master recording taken from a position slightly closer to Robben Ford at the very front center of the venue, allowing you to enjoy the band's powerful sound.
