This recording captures Eric Clapton's first performance in Japan in 1974, specifically his Osaka concert at Koseinenkin Kaikan Dai Hall on November 5th. Enjoy the raw and bluesy concert of a young Eric Clapton, 41 years ago, on his first visit to Japan. This was his first Japan tour, partly for promotion after recovering from drug addiction and releasing his masterpiece "461 Ocean Boulevard." His youthful energy contributed to a very raw and powerful performance, making this a precious record of a period that could only be experienced at that time. The entire concert, including the encore, is included. While it's an audience recording, considering the era, the sound quality is very good, powerful, and all instruments are clearly recorded. Although there are some slight instability points, it's a very stable listen.
