☆High-bitrate Blu-ray video using XAVEL label's original, superb sound master (a different master from the pressed CD).

☆Excellently balanced source recorded at the venue's best acoustic sweet spot. Superb audience recording with clear sound using omnidirectional microphones that fully convey the atmosphere of the venue.

☆Superb sound quality that can be described as "another definitive version" of the final day's April 27th performance. Superb sound that can only be heard on this Blu-ray.

Live at Budokan 2025, a whirlwind of 8 performances. The final day's April 27th stage is completely recorded with original audience shots. This Blu-ray is from Alexander, the video division of XAVEL label.

The video itself contains the same content as the DVD included with the limited edition of the previously released pressed CD, but you can enjoy the picture quality that takes advantage of Blu-ray's high bitrate. It's an astonishing video capturing Clapton and the band members clearly from a very close distance on the left side of the stage. While the first four performances of this Live at Budokan 2025 concert were somewhat disappointing in terms of clarity, this final performance is of a quality we can confidently recommend and is a must-see.

And the biggest selling point of this release, despite being a video item, lies in its audio. Specifically, the audio for this video uses another audience master recorded from the same position as the previously released pressed CD, allowing you to enjoy the entire live performance with a superb, clear sound that can only be experienced with this release. To briefly summarize the difference in sound character from the previously released pressed CD, it is as follows:

◎Previously released pressed CD = Less sense of presence (+ audience noise). A thick sound with excellent reproduction of the mid-range frequencies. The exceptional tone of the guitar sound, in particular, is noteworthy and can only be achieved by using this microphone in this position.

◎This Blu-ray video has a strong sense of presence (plus audience noise). The sound is clear and crisp, leaning towards a V-shaped frequency response. The mid-range frequencies, which include the fundamental tones and lower harmonics of guitar and bass, are somewhat thin. The bright, clear, and pleasant sound quality has led some to feel that it sounds better than a unidirectional microphone.
