This release captures Joe Bonamassa's live performance at the Moscow International Performing Arts Center in Moscow, Russia, on March 17, 2012, during his European tour. While his work with Black Country Communion (alongside Glenn Hughes) has been somewhat lackluster of late, it is wonderful to see him energetically touring as a solo artist every year; on this recording, Bonamassa delivers a performance that is impressively relaxed and free-flowing. The setlist features a mix of covers and original material, offering an entertaining experience for the audience. This show includes covers of songs by Jeff Beck and Gary Moore, delivering plenty of the exciting, bluesy highlights fans have come to expect. The audio is an audience recording that captures a direct, immediate sound; as it was recorded in a small hall, the audio balance is excellent.
