This definitive recording from the XAVEL label, which also released a string of astonishingly high-quality recordings of their 2013 Akasaka Blitz shows, is a breathtaking live performance featuring a selection of classic tracks reimagined with 2019 arrangements! It's truly music non-stop! "Metropolis" was included on each day, making it a highlight! While the aforementioned Akasaka BLITZ performance had a sharp, well-defined sound image like a soundboard sound source, this work reflects the characteristics of the Orchard Hall venue and provides a superb live sound with a sense of realism accompanied by moderate reverberation.
