This release pairs soundboard (SBD) recordings of live performances by Mountain: one from New York in 1971 and another from Florida in 1974. Although the band sadly disbanded in December 1971 before reuniting in 1973, the 1971 recording captures them at the peak of their momentum—specifically around the time they released the masterpiece *Flowers of Evil*. The energy from Leslie West and Felix Pappalardi is incredible, and the performance quality is top-notch. Regarding the 1974 Florida show—which took place shortly before they disbanded again that same year—the band displays excellent chemistry. Leslie West’s guitar playing is highly polished, delivering a performance that hard rock fans will absolutely love. As these are soundboard recordings, the audio quality is consistently high, allowing for a thoroughly enjoyable listening experience.
