Another live performance that Taper kept secret, the 3121 Las Vegas concert from April 1, is now being released. Like Viva Las Divas, the sound quality is excellent, recorded with a high-quality audience! In fact, this day was supposed to be the final day of the 3121 Las Vegas tour. Since this was the last live performance, everyone wanted to see it for themselves. His Super Bowl halftime show performance was also highly praised at the time, so April 1st was a hugely exciting concert. Prince actually rescinded the plan to make this his final concert and continued performing in Las Vegas. However, on April 1st, he still featured a shocking guest. Sheila E. and the Escobeto family were also there, but Tamar Davis, who had had a business rift with Prince and was no longer able to promote his albums or perform live with him, also performed. Prince had replaced Tamar with Shelby, who had been working for Larry Graham, and she had become an integral part of NPG at the time, so it seemed as though a battle of the ladies between Shelby and Tamar might unfold at the concert. In fact, Tamar sang Aretha Franklin's "I Never Loved the Man the Way I Love You" with great emotion. "You're a liar, I don't love men anymore," she sang right in front of Prince. Tamar isn't jealous of Shelby. She's attacking Prince with her vocals. Check it out with this item! When you play it on your computer, you can see the footage of Prince, NPG, Wendy, and Lisa onstage at the Brit Awards on February 15, 2006.
