This is a line recording of Roy Buchanan's last performance in Japan on September 19, 1986, at Midokaikan Hall, Osaka, Japan. Sadly, Roy passed away in 1988, but the performance recorded on this item is of the highest quality. His signature soulful guitar sound is so moving that it's hard to imagine anyone else playing it. A digest version of Roy's 1977 Japan tour was officially released overseas in the past, but unfortunately it wasn't the complete version and didn't allow you to fully enjoy Roy's Japan tour. However, this item includes the encore and also features 8 bonus tracks in soundboard format from the final day of his 1986 Japan tour, the September 25th Tokyo performance. It's a fantastic concert. The sound quality is top-notch, as it was recorded in soundboard format, carefully remastered, and some parts that were cut have been repaired using high-quality sources.
