This volume, Volume 2, features multi-track recordings in chronological order, spanning from 1966's "Paperback Writer" to 1968's "Revolution." As always, the albums are reconstructed based on three concepts: newly created reconstruction tracks, including studio chat, from multi-track and session recordings; instrumental tracks featuring performances only; and vocal tracks featuring vocals. Compared to the early releases, each track is longer and the studio chat before and after each is longer. From the mid-period, when The Beatles' talents blossomed and studio recordings became more complex, many intriguing tracks are included, such as "Yellow Submarine," "All You Need Is Love," and "I Am the Walrus." The first set includes the Reconstruction Tracks, which recreate the album using newly remixed versions of the multi-track masters. While Beatles multi-track recordings have been widely available, particularly for rock bands, this series of tracks does not simply re-record these previously released tracks; instead, they are newly remixed versions of the multi-track masters, incorporating studio outtakes of session recordings, including pre-performance countdowns and chatter. These tracks feature vivid vocals with close-up detail and new stereo separation for a clearer, more refined balance of each instrument. Enjoy the same vivid impact as hearing "Yellow Submarine Songtrack" and "Let It Be Naked" for the first time. Additionally, the Instrumental Tracks highlight instrumental performances that are obscured on the standard recordings, while the Vocal Tracks eliminate instrumental performances to allow for a more realistic, naked vocal experience. All tracks are recorded in the latest, original edits. The remastering uses the original sound source converted from a multi-track master captured in 48kHz/24bit format, resulting in a sound quality that is even higher than the previously recorded source.
