Officially, it's included on the compilation album 'SUCKING IN THE 70’s' as "When The Whip Comes From the 1978 tour, which only took place in North America and featured only one song, "Down," comes a classic recording, a radio broadcast recording recommended even for beginners, released by SODD, borrowing the title of a famous analog album! The 1978 tour accompanying the release of "SOME GIRLS" consisted of a total of 25 shows in North America. Each show was recorded on 24 tracks, and much of the live material was broadcast on the American FM program "KING BISCUIT FLOWER HOUR." Later, in 1996, the prestigious TSP released 26 tracks, including previously unbroadcasted takes, in the highest sound quality comparable to radio shows, making it the definitive version of the 1978 recordings. Although there are various theories regarding the detailed locations, the recording is an edited compilation of live performances from various locations. This time, SODD is releasing these 26 tracks plus 4 recently unearthed KBFH outtakes, for a total of 30 tracks. Thanks to the latest remastering technology, the sound quality has improved dramatically compared to the original 1996 TSP mastering. The overwhelming sound pressure, improved separation, and wider stereo mix result in a high-quality sound that could easily be officially released! This tour features eight songs from "SOME GIRLS," excluding "Some Girls" and "Before They Make Me Run," making it a must-see for fans of the album. It's also a highly recommended release that allows you to enjoy the distinctive style unique to this period, which is said to have been significantly influenced by the rise of punk and is unfortunately not fully captured in official releases!
