This is a complete live audience recording from THE WHO's 2008 Japan tour at the Budokan on November 17th. The XAVEL label released what are arguably the best audience recordings of their Yokohama and Saitama shows, but unfortunately, this recording falls short of the aforementioned two titles. Specifically, the band's sound image is somewhat distant, and the instrumental definition is blurred. However, the sound quality is powerful and covers a wide range of sounds evenly. Above all, this release is a valuable document of a night at the Budokan, a passionate performance that was arguably the highlight of the tour. It is a worthy release, especially in that it fully conveys the audience's incredible excitement.
